Brewing a Cure will raise critically needed research funding to continue to fuel progress and breakthroughs like the two FDA-approved treatments to shrink brain and kidney tumors associated with TSC; new clinical trials to actually prevent some types of TSC-related seizures; and a new biosample repository that will empower researchers to better understand why TSC affects people so differently. Every day and every dollar gets us closer to new treatments and ultimately a cure for TSC. Moreover, research into TSC can also mean a better understanding of cancer, epilepsy and autism – diseases that touch most everyone.
